The Beckett Project
Samuel Beckett’s writing is as relevant today as it was when he wrote his famous play Waiting For Godot in 1953. Beckett writes existence itself onto the stage; the ordinary human as they survive from minute to minute; how they look up occasionally to contemplate the patterns and repetitions that humanity creates during its survival on earth. The Beckett Project will allow young actors to engage in a conversation with one of the greatest writers of the 20th Century, under the guidance of Irish-based director Sarah Jane Scaife.
The performance will be followed by a post show talk.
